Players Capital Group is a private investment and marketing partnership formed by ex-professional athletes, for ex-professional athletes. We approach the business world with the same passion and intensity we had back in our playing days.
What didn’t retire with you were the skills and contacts you made along the way. Most professional athletes we know are sophisticated, educated, and articulate. Many of us developed outstanding social skills during our careers and learned how to deal with the public with confidence. That skill and polish goes a long way in competitive business environments.
We don’t turn athletes into investors—we invest only our time. Why? Because we don’t need to. Most startups fail, and financial capital isn’t our greatest asset—social capital is.
